Privacy , Billing, & Your Rights
This page includes important information about your rights and what to expect when working with me. Here, you’ll find my Privacy Practices, a summary of the No Surprises Act to help you understand your protections around billing, and a general Good Faith Estimate based on my standard session rate of $160. My goal is to keep things transparent, accessible, and easy to understand so you can feel informed and supported as we work together. If you have any questions about these policies, I’m always happy to talk them through with you.
Privacy Practices
Your privacy is incredibly important to me. My Privacy Practices explain how your personal and health information is protected, how it may be used, and the rights you have over your own records. This includes when I can share information, when I need your permission, and how you can request access to your file. I follow all HIPAA guidelines to keep your information safe, and I’m always happy to answer any questions about how your privacy is handled.
No Surprises Act
The No Surprises Act is a federal law that protects you from unexpected or confusing medical bills. As part of this protection, you have the right to receive clear information about the cost of your care before you begin services. This disclosure explains your rights and outlines how you can request a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) for any services you plan to receive. I believe in transparent, straightforward billing, and I’m committed to making sure you always know what to expect.
Good Faith Estimate
The Good Faith Estimate (GFE) provides an upfront look at the expected cost of your therapy based on my standard rate of $160 per session. While the actual number of sessions you may choose to attend can vary, this estimate helps you plan and understand the potential financial commitment of care. You’re always welcome to ask questions or request an updated GFE at any time. My goal is to make billing transparent and manageable as we work together.
